The last few days have been emotional for the AJ Dybantsa-led Utah Prep basketball team. After strong wins against tough opponents, they were upset by Mt. Zion Prep on Wednesday, 59-56. However, they redeemed themselves by winning their next game against Accelerated Prep on Saturday, 100-63.

Following the ups and downs, Dybantsa's teammate, four-star shooting guard Anthony Felesi, shared an emotionally charged post on Monday with the caption:

“Everybody want a piece, they all need they share of you. 🥷’s doin favors so they can bring up what they did for you."

This post garnered attention, including a two-word comment from AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 ranked prospect in the Class of 2025:

"Like damn."

Felesi, a native of Orem, Utah, is ranked No. 67 in the Class of 2026, the No. 19-ranked shooting guard and the top player in Utah, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He holds offers from Utah, Utah State, UNLV, California and Washington State, with Utah currently the favorite to land his commitment.

AJ Dybantsa and Utah Prep have a tough challenge ahead

After their upset loss to Mt. Zion Prep last week, Utah Prep will not be able to replicate Montverde Academy's undefeated 2023-24 national title run anymore. However, they still need as many wins as possible to remain title contenders, and standing in their way is AJ Dybantsa's former school, Prolific Prep, led by No. 3-ranked Darryn Peterson.

The showdown between the No. 1 and the No. 3 prospect in the Class of 2025 will happen on Sunday. Prolific Prep will be a much more talented team than Mt. Zion Prep, with several four-star players in the lineup like Niko Bundalo, Mazi Mosley, Winters Grady, Gabe Nesmith, and Obinna Ekezie Jr.

Following that, AJ Dybantsa and Utah Prep will take on four-star Kayden Edwards and Duncanville on Dec. 14, and then the four-star duo of Jermaine O'Neal Jr., Jaden Toombs from Dynamic Prep on Jan. 10. After that, they will take on the defending national champions Montverde Academy on Jan. 19.
