Top-ranked five-star prospect AJ Dybantsa had a homecoming in Massachusetts as Utah Prep took on Nate Ament and Highland High School. However, at one point during the game, it was Dybantsa's four-star teammate, JJ Mandaquit, who stole the show during that game in Boston on Wednesday.

AJ Dybantsa, originally from Brockton, Massachusetts, posted a video of Mandaquit taking over the game, commenting:

"Kid took over my hood."

While AJ is a small forward and the No. 1 ranked player in On3's Industry Rankings. Mandaquit is a point guard who is considered the No. 50 overall recruit from the class of 2025. The two may continue teaming up in college too, as Mandaquit and Dybantsa received offers from Birmingham Young University.

Last October, the two also held their official visits to BYU at the same time, though Dybantsa has insisted that this was not planned and that their visits happening at the same time was just a coincidence.

Utah Prep won that match against Highland High School 79-71, with Dybantsa matching up against fellow five-star Nate Ament throughout the game. However, Ament also had a strong performance, poking holes at Dybantsa's defense.

Much like Dybantsa, Ament is also a five-star small forward and he is the No. 4 ranked recruit from the class of 2025. He is also the No. 2 ranked small forward, ranked only behind the Utah Prep star.

AJ Dybantsa's homecoming game was organized by his father, Utah Prep coach, Emmanuel College coach

AJ Dybantsa had been in Boston since Sunday as he spent time with family and friends before the high school basketball season began. With Dybantsa already home, his father, Anicet, had a discussion with Emmanuel College track and field coach Dion Gardner-Crichlow and Utah Prep coach LJ Yamzon, leading to the game with Highland materializing.

Emmanuel College hosted the game, with the Utah Prep head coach releasing a statement regarding the game's importance.

“This area holds a significant place in his heart,” he said (via FootBoom). “We wanted to create a senior night vibe, even if it’s early in the season. Showing off in front of local supporters is a big deal.”

A lot of fans showed up, and Dybantsa got to showcase his skills in front of family and friends. The exhibition match also attracted plenty of attention, as Alabama and Kansas State, two schools in Dybantsa's final seven, also sent coaches to watch the five-star.
