The 2027 edge rusher from Vigor High School announced his commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide after attending their Champions Cook-Out on Sunday.

However, not everyone was turned off by the announcement. There were some positive reactions to the news as well, especially from Bama fans:

"We run this state," one fan commented.
"Vigor stays producing NFL talent," another fan reacted.
"Roll tide!! Hope you stick with us!" another wrote.

JaBarrius Garror has already received offers from some of the best programs in the country. He is currently sitting on more than 20 offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Garror announced his commitment to his home state school after visiting the Crimson Tide's Champions Cook-Out session on Sunday. The edge rusher spoke about his decision to commit to Alabama in a recent interview with BamaOnLine:

"I’ve been having a great relationship with the coaches. I’ve been up there a few times, and it just felt like home," Garror said about his decision. "Every time I went up there, it was just the same thing and I felt the same feeling. I felt like it was home."

Garror visited Alabama's campus in Tuscaloosa three times since receiving the offer in March this year. According to the edge rusher, his early announcement will allow him to focus on his sophomore year without any distractions:

"Bama is just the place, for real," Garror said. "I’m getting it out of the way. I committed to my home already, so I can just focus and lock in for this season."

JaBarrius Garror had a successful freshman year at Vigor High School. He recorded 12 total tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 4.0 tackles for loss in just five games and was one of the team's best players.
