Jason Crowe Jr., the No. 8 recruit in the Class of 2026 and son of former NBA player Jason Crowe, often posts basketball highlights and collaborations with famous basketball pages such as SLAM and Ballislife on his social media. However, this time, the Inglewood High School player shared a wholesome picture with his mother Irene Madeline on his Instagram story.

Madeline's colleague who goes by the Instagram username @daoudiethefoodie was also in attendance during Crowe Jr.'s game and uploaded a story with the Class of 2026 guard, which was later reshared by Madeline.

On3 classifies Jason Crowe Jr. as a combo guard, while 247Sports, Rivals, On3, and ESPN all rate him as a five-star recruit. He is the third-best shooting guard and fifth-best player in California's 2026 Class.
The Lynwood native appeared in 65 games for Inglewood High School over two seasons, averaging 36.6 points, 5.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 steals and 0.4 blocks per game. In 29 games during the 2023-24 season, Crowe Jr. averaged 37.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 5.8 apg, 3.9 spg and 0.2 bpg.
According to On3, he has received offers from colleges across the nation including Kentucky, Alabama, Arizona State and Georgia Tech, among others.

Jason Crowe Jr. appeared on 10-time NBA All-Star Paul Pierce's "Truth Lounge" podcast in November and talked about being in touch with five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum and two-time NBA scoring champ Russell Westbrook.
"Jayson Tatum. I talk to him here and there," Crowe Jr. said. "He always gives me pointers and stuff like that. I text him every couple days and stuff like that. And then obviously Westbrook, playing for his program, we talk very often, just give me pointers and stuff like that and so that's it." (32:53 - 33:11)
