Alijah Arenas is on vacation in Paris with his mom, Laura Govan, and other members of his family. During one of their tours on Tuesday, a fan spotted the five-star recruit and asked to take a picture with him.
Govan noted that even in France, Alijah is still loved.
The family also took a video in front of the Palace of Versailles, which was once the home of the French royal family. The video featured not just Alijah Arenas, but also his girlfriend Jaydenn, his sister Himley, brother Aloni and others.

Alijah Arenas had mostly just been sharing his mom's posts in Paris and was seen enjoying the city while there. The family previously posed and even danced together in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Alijah is ranked the No. 5 player from the class of 2026 by 247Sports, and also the No. 2 shooting guard and the No. 4 player in California.
However, they were not just in Paris to see the sights, but also to cheer for the eldest of the Arenas siblings, Izela, who made her debut with the Louisville Cardinals in France.
Govan had been sharing images and videos of them in Paris while waiting for the game to start. The Cardinals opened the season against the UCLA Bruins at the Adidas Arena in Paris.
Reason why Izela was not with Alijah Arenas, rest of the family during Paris trip revealed
The eldest Arenas sibling may not have joined her family to see Paris, but she was with her team during most of the trip, which several NCAA teams participated in. It was part of the 2024 Aflac Oui-Play Event, which also featured Ole Miss taking on USC.
The Louisville freshman and her squad did see the sights, which included climbing the Eiffel Tower and taking a dinner cruise down the River Seine. However, even with her mom, siblings, and the rest of the family flying to Paris to watch her, UCLA still defeated the Cardinals, 66-59.
Izela only scored three points during her debut with Louisville, though it was from behind the 3-point line. She also had one assist and one offensive rebound during the game.
