The Nike Kobe 8 Protros, a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant, symbolize his enduring legacy and the prestigious standing of the University of Oregon in collegiate sports. Bryce’s selection of these sneakers suggests a potential alignment with Oregon's basketball team.

According to 247Sports, Bryce, a class of 2025 prospect, is ranked 148 on the national list with a three-star rating and 22nd in California. He is not signed up with anyone as of this time, although he has been courted by Duquesne and Ohio State, among others that offer Division I basketball.

Bryce performed decently at the Peach Jam, scoring an average of 6.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, shooting 45% from the floor and 40% from the 3-point line.

As the younger brother of Bronny James, who was recently drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryce faces significant expectations. When asked about possibly joining his father and brother in the NBA, Bryce humorously dismissed the idea and said:

"That’s too much, no. He’s going to be 42, bro."

LeBron James shines as Team USA dominates Serbia in Olympic opener

LeBron James showcased his enduring talent as he led Team USA to victory against Serbia in Sunday's 2024 Paris Olympics opening game. Despite being 39, James was among the standout players on the court.

LeBron James started the game with a breakaway dunk, which established the tone for the rest of the game. Kevin Durant, who is participating in his fourth Olympic Games, led the American team, eyeing a fifth successive title.

Durant put up 23 points, while James was also productive, scoring 21 points, making nine assists and collecting seven rebounds as Team USA defeated Serbia 110-84.

Together, LeBron James and Durant were remarkably efficient, shooting a combined 18 for 22 from the field. Durant went 8 for 9, while James shot 9 for 13. Their performance highlighted the U.S.'s dominance over the reigning World Cup silver medalists.

Serbia's Nikola Jokić, a three-time NBA MVP, led his team with 20 points, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 14. However, Serbia struggled from the 3-point line, being outscored 54-27 in that area. The U.S. capitalized, shooting 62% overall while holding Serbia to 42%.
