LeBron James' son Bryce James re-shared a heartfelt on-court moment with teammate Bryce Cofield on his Instagram Story on Saturday. The picture, originally posted by Cofield, featured a candid shot of the two players on the hardwood, going in for a high-five.
“Brudda @_justbryce,” the caption on the original post read.
Sierra Canyon played their second game of 2025 on Saturday and secured another convincing win. The game, which ended in a 64-42 victory over Houston High School, kicked off with Cofield sinking a smooth two-point field goal. This was followed by a two-point bucket from Gavin Highpower before Houston responded with a two-pointer of their own to set the tone for a competitive first half.
Both teams battled hard, but the Trailblazers secured a narrow three-point lead into halftime. The back-and-forth battle continued in the third quarter. Houston gave their best to match the Trailblazers' energy, especially in the early minutes of the quarter.
However, as the quarter progressed, the Trailblazers found their rhythm and began to take control. By the end of the third, they had stretched their lead to eight points, which only widened in the fourth quarter.
Bryce James is gradually making his way back to full action after missing nine games due to a lower back issue. Now in his seventh game of the season, he started on the bench but checked in during the first quarter and eventually ended the game with three points.
6-foot-6 Bryce Cofield, on the other hand, racked up eleven points.
What's next for Bryce James?
After missing the first nine games of the season due to injury, Bryce James is gradually finding his footing with the Trailblazers. Over the last seven games, he has come off the bench, averaging 6.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. His next game is against Bishop Alemany High School on Wednesday, which will be another opportunity for him to build momentum.
The 17-year-old four-star prospect announced his commitment to the University of Arizona on New Year's Day. He will join coach Tommy Lloyd and 6-foot-7 forward Dwayne Aristode, another Class of 2025 prospect who is committed to the Wildcats.
