When the Ball Brothers – Lonzo, LaMelo and LiAngelo – were still in high school, they faced many teams that featured future NBA stars. Among the teams was Milwaukee's Rufus King High School, which featured a future NBA champion in Jordan Poole. A video of the game between Chino Hills, led by the Ball Brothers, taking on Rufus King and Jordan Poole surfaced on Saturday on Instagram.

The Washington Wizards star took on all three Ball Brothers and had some highlights of his own. His performance against Chino Hills, regarded as one of the country's best high school teams at that time, got fans talking and reminiscing on how good he was back then.

"This post proves JORDAN is the GOAT 🐐 🙌," one fan commented.
"And in the nba Poole got the last laugh . Ball bros can’t even make the playoffs , Poole got a ring 🤣," one commenter pointed out.
"i was at this game, actually played in the tournament too. poole was going off but they still lost by 40😭," another person added.

Meanwhile, some commenters praised the Ball Brothers for that legendary and dominant season as they were just a public school that dominated the prep schools.

"Three brothers from a public school dog walked the whole nation that season," one fan pointed out.
"Craziest thing here is you know who won that game in advance, because 2016 Chino Hills went 36-0…." another added.
"I always liked how calm lonzo was. Bruh was KILLIN and his demeanor never changed," another wrote.

As one pointed out, Chino Hills went 35-0 that season, which ended with a state title for the public school. All three Ball Brothers eventually played in the NBA, but only LaMelo Ball became an All-Star.

How good was Jordan Poole in high school?

As for Jordan Poole, he eventually transferred out of Rufus King and went to Indiana's La Lumiere. He finished his high school days there and graduated as a four-star point guard.

Poole was ranked as the No. 101 overall and the No. 19 shooting guard in the Class of 2017. The 6-foot-5 guard chose Michigan before eventually going to the Golden State Warriors, which relegated him to the G League. This did not stop him as the Warriors welcomed him back, and he won an NBA championship with the team in 2022.
