Four-star prospect Gordon Sellars is one of the most promising wide receivers in the 2026 class. The Providence Day School (North Carolina) standout has announced his plans to visit Clemson on Jan. 25.

On Friday, Sellars retweeted the post with a tiger emoji.

The interaction caught the attention of Clemson's three-star quarterback commit, Brock Bradley, who seized the moment to recruit Sellars. Bradley retweeted the post with a caption reading:

"My guy!!! @GordonSellars2 you already know 🐅🐅🫶."

Sellers fueled speculation about his potential future in orange and white by quickly replying:

"What’s The Word QB 😊🤞🏾."

Clemson is one of five programs competing for Sellars' commitment, along with Michigan, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. He has been clear about what he's looking for in a school.

“I am definitely looking for a place where I can play as a true freshman,” Sellars TigerNet. “Obviously, I’ll be looking for a school with good sports, but also a good academic school.”

Gordon Sellars is a big-bodied wide receiver with phenomenal speed. Despite battling a nagging ankle injury and missing one game, he racked up 975 yards and 10 touchdowns on 50 receptions this season, earning a spot on the Charlotte Observer’s First Team All-Area list.

Gordon Sellars raves about his game-day visit to Clemson

Gordon Sellars picked up a Clemson offer after visiting for Clemson’s 40-14 win against Stanford on Sept. 28. He was also present for Clemson’s narrow 17-14 loss to South Carolina on Nov. 30.

The wide receiver has been closely recruited by Tigers wide receivers coach Tyler Grisham. In an interview with TCI, he revealed what aspects of Clemson stood out in his perspective, saying:

“The coaches and the players for sure. It’s a brotherhood at Clemson and they are playing for each other.”

Sellers also praised the strong push from the Tigers coaching staff, saying (via TigerNet):

“The message that Clemson and coach Grisham have for me is that they think I could really benefit and help their program and possibly win a national championship. They told me that I remind them of Tee Higgins because of my size and ability to play receiver, so that really meant a lot.”

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives South Carolina an edge in Sellers' commitment by allotting the Gamecocks a 55.8% chance of securing his commitment. However, the recruitment journey for blue-chip prospects like him can change anytime, and Clemson may take the lead in the position as well.
