AJ Dybantsa, the No.1 prospect in the Class of 2025, put up a show in Kentucky. The 6-foot-9 small forward scored a whopping 31 points in Utah Prep's clash against Dream City Christian National on Friday, December 6.
SportsCenter Next's Instagram handle posted a compilation video of Dybantsa's best moments from the game on Saturday, December 7.
"AJ Dybantsa makes it look easy out there 🤧🔥," the caption read.
ESPN recruiting insider Paul Bincardi showed his appreciation for the Red Bull athlete's play. He went to the comment section to heap praises on the talented youngster.
"His talent and potential are something we have seen only on a limited number of occasions. The combination of his versatility, basketball IQ, scoring prowess, and competitive nature makes him special!" Bincardi wrote.
Although the 17-year-old was better than everybody else on the court, Utah Prep lost the narrow thriller to Dream City Christian National by a scoreline of 80-77. Dybantsa's team has already lost three games out of the 11 they have played.
AJ Dybantsa picks his top four colleges
Over 29 universities made their offer to the top prospect from the 2025 class. The $2.7 million NIL valued star, as per On3, has narrowed down the list to four. On Wednesday, December 4, AJ Dybantsa chopped Auburn and Kansas State off his list.
As of now, BYU, Kansas, Alabama, and North Carolina are in contention to land Dybantsa.
AJ Dybantsa was expected to announce his commitment in February next year. However, there has been some change in plans.
"The original plan was to commit in February....If I know where I want to go, why wait? It's probably going to be in December; I feel I will be ready by then." Dybantsa told ESPN's Paul Biancardi.
According to On3, BYU is the favorite to sign the top prospect, with a 69.2% chance. Kansas State, which is supposedly out of the running, is the next closest, with only a 13.2% possibility of adding the youngster to the squad.
