The No. 5 recruit of the Class of 2025, Caleb Wilson received an offer from North Carolina on May 23, 2023, and then named the Tar Heels in his top 12 on Jul. 30, 2024. He visited them officially in February, and unofficially revisited them on Oct. 8. He posted some pictures of his visit on Instagram:

While there were many comments from Kentucky fan pages asking Wilson to join them, the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, also commented on the post:
The twins complimented the chain Wilson was wearing in the pictures.

"W chain," commented Cayden Boozer.
Wilson ranks second in his position and region, and first in his state. The Atlanta, Georgia native received five stars from ESPN, On3, Rivals and 247Sports.
Caleb Wilson played 69 games for Holy Innocents Episcopal. He averaged a double-double scoring 17.9 points, dishing out 4.1 assists and grabbing 12.0 rebounds. He also averaged 1.4 steals and 4 blocks per contest.
Meanwhile, Cayden Boozer played 87 games for Columbus High School, Miami. He averaged 14.6 points, 5.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 steals and 0.3 blocks per contest.
His brother, Cameron Boozer played 90 games while scoring 20.7 points, grabbing 11.2 rebounds, dishing out 3.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.1 blocks per game.

According to On3 Prediction Machine, Georgia Tech leads the race to recruit Caleb Wilson at 20.8%.
"I like Georgia Tech a lot," Wilson said. "Coach Stoudamire is a really cool coach and a really good guy. Also has some NBA tenure, so that is really important to me."
The Auburn Tigers rank second with an 18.2% chance of recruiting Wilson. He received an offer from them on Sep. 11, 2023, and officially visited them on Oct. 27, 2023.
UNC has the third-highest chance of recruiting Wilson (15.6%). When speaking about UNC, Wilson commended their fan base and the atmosphere:
"I loved their fan base, the school and the atmosphere surrounding sports," Wilson said. "Their message is that I’m ready to play on Day 1 with consistent work and effort and that they need and want me to be a Tar Heel."
