Sebastian Wilkins is eyeing versatility for the future
Sebastian Wilkins recalled watching elite high school stars like Sharife Cooper, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green and Jaden Ivey at the Hoophall Classic, dreaming of his turn.
"Being from Massachusetts, the Hoophall is a really big deal," Wilkins told Rivals.com. "This is the one everybody wants to play in."
Wilkins scored 20 points to lead Brewster Academy past Oak Hill Academy, which earned him MVP.
"My whole thing this year is just to learn as much as I can and to play wherever and do whatever we need to win. That’s the kind of player I want to be, a guy you can just put out there and I can fill in and produce," Wilkins said.
This mindset and productivity have attracted college coaches. West Virginia, Rutgers, Providence and UMass have extended offers, and St. John’s, Georgetown, Virginia and Texas A&M showed interest.
Wilkins, ranked No. 28 overall in the Rivals100 for 2026, is taking his recruitment slow, focusing on becoming a versatile player.
"I’ve had to play different positions, but I think that’s really helped me mentally," he said. "I want to be on the wing, but I’ll play wherever the coach needs me. That’s why I’m working on developing overall."
Which school do you think will be more suitable? Or is Sebastian Wilkins likely to choose?
