Duke signees Cayden and Cameron Boozer, twin sons of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, are back to winning ways. Christopher Columbus High School recovered from its back-to-back losses during last month's Jordan Holiday Classic.
Cameron has been riding high this season, and his girlfriend, Yva Lauren Cao, has been showing all her support for him, complete with a supportive sign on Thursday.
"Senior night," wrote Cao on her Instagram stories, holding a sign that reads, "Cam's biggest fan."
Cao's Instagram page contains lots of images of her and Cameron Boozer. They have been together for more than a year now and she regularly watches him play for Christopher Columbus High School.
As for Cameron, the No. 2 ranked overall for the Class of 2025 has been leading his team back to victory since 2025 began. The Explorers have now won two games in a row after losing twice in a row during the Jordan Holiday Classic against Dylan Mingo and the Kiyan Anthony-less Long Island Lutheran (77-66), and then Chris Cenac Jr.'s Link Academy (57-49).
The Explorers started the year with a 61-44 win against Riviera Prep on Jan. 10, and then a dominating 91-35 win over Coral Park last Wednesday. The Explorers will next take on Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) on Jan. 18, and that team is led by No. 2 ranked junior Tyran Stokes. After that will be against Perry High School, which is led by fellow five-star forward, Koa Peat, on Monday.
Cameron Boozer and twin brother Cayden nominated as McDonald's All-Americans
Cameron Boozer may be adding a new title under his belt come April 1, as he and his twin brother, Cayden Boozer, have been nominated as McDonald's All-Americans. Being named a McDonald's All-American is considered among the biggest honors in high school basketball, and should they be named as such, they would be playing for the East team, as they are from Florida.
Among their possible teammates in the East team are Long Island Lutheran stars Kayden Mingo, Nigel James, and Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan. Also nominated are No. 4 ranked Nate Ament, No. 5 ranked Caleb Wilson, No. 7 ranked Mikel Brown Jr., and No. 8 ranked Meleek Thomas.
