Her father, Adrian Peterson, became one of the most controversial NFL players after he was arrested for child abuse, which he pleaded "no contest" to in 2022.

MaxPreps projects that Adrian Peterson's daughter Ari Peterson will be a 'high-level' prospect in future

MaxPreps has projected that Ari Peterson will soon emerge as a "high-level" prospect. She has not even played a year of high school basketball but has already been offered scholarships by several schools, including Minnesota, Purdue, Maryland and Oklahoma.

She was already a promising prospect in middle school, leading Providence Academy (Plymouth, Minnesota) to a state championship last year, averaging 12.2 ppg and 7.4 rebounds per game.
