Aaliyah Chavez, the No.1 recruit in the Class of 2025, stunned the fans with her performance on Thursday, November 7. The five-star recruit led the way with 43 points for the Monterey Plainsmen against the Round Rock Westwood Warriors in a home tournament game.

Chavez's performance left the opponents reeling and fans heaped praises on the 5-foot-10 point guard.

Chavez fans flocked to social media to laud the young ace basketball star.

"BEAST MODE!!!! Goooooo Aaliyah!!!" One user wrote.
"Her game is as smooth as warm butter….," another added.

Since the game was at 10 in the morning, some pointed out curious details about the timing.

"On a normal basis she's done more before 10am than someone does by the end of the day," a comment read.
"10 am on a school day is crazy," wrote a critic.

Her incredible display of basketball also earned her some crazy comparisons.

Monterey dominated the game right from the beginning, thanks to Aaliyah Chavez. The first quarter ended with a 38-13 scoreline in Chavez's side's favor.

Westwood tried to fight back in the second quarter, holding Monterey to 11-13. But Aaliyah continued to wreak havoc as the next two quarters saw them getting demolished 26-7 and 15-2. In the end, Monterey High School thrashed Round Rock Westwood 92-33.

Which college will Aaliyah Chavez commit to?

Aaliyah Chavez has received offers from multiple top institutions, including Oklahoma, UCLA, Texas, Texas Tech and LSU. According to On3, Oklahoma and UCLA are frontrunners for signing the youngster, with 37% and 32.3% chances.

Texas Tech, Texas and LSU are way behind with 9.8%, 8.2% and 8.2% chances, respectively.

Chavez made her official visit to Oklahoma on October 18. Following the visit, her mother confirmed via Instagram that Chavez is yet to commit. She also visited UCLA facilities on October 31. The young basketball star recently revealed that she wants to be in a place where she has high energy.

Aaliyah does not want to team up with a low-energy coach. She also wants her coach to stay at the institution for four years. Aaliyah argued she's going to represent them for four years and expects the coach to do the same.
