The Pittsburgh native will be teaming up with fellow five-star IMG Academy's Darius Acuff Jr. over at Arkansas next year. Four-star small forward Isaiah Sealy is also expected to join them there.

Thomas is the No. 8-ranked overall, while Acuff is the No. 10-ranked, with Sealy being the No. 70-ranked recruit for the Class of 2025.

City Reapers now at 2nd place in Overtime Elite thanks to Meleek Thomas

Meleek Thomas missed a few games for his Overtime Elite team, the City Reapers, as he was getting ready to announce his college decision last November.

This led to the Reapers losing a few games while he was gone. Now that he is back, the team has won four of its last five games. This includes a big win last Dec. 14 over Eli Ellis and the previously undefeated YNG Dreamerz, 85-81.

In the 10 games he has played for the 8-4 City Reapers, he averages 28 points, 5.1 assists, 8.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. The City Reapers have now taken the second-place in the OTE 2024-2025 season standings, with Ellis and the YNG Dreamerz still at the top of the rankings at 11-1.

The City Reapers are scheduled to take on Fear of God Athletics at the OTE Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Jan. 11, and then Jelly Fam in New York City on Jan. 21. The team will have its anticipated rematch with YNG Dreamerz on Jan. 25.
