Rising Star Kiyan Anthony shines in high school basketball
Kiyan Anthony, ranked No. 27 in On3's 2025 rankings, is set to be a senior at Long Island Lutheran (NY). Reflecting on his journey, Anthony told On3 in June:
"I’m trying to be the best team player possible, doing what I can to help the team win. It means a lot to be recognized as one of the top players in my class with these camps."
On3 asked the four-star athlete about his recruitment journey.
"I’ve taken official visits to Syracuse and Florida State," Anthony revealed.
He emphasized his desire to forge his own identity:
"Everyone thinks I’m going to Syracuse right now, and while they are a main option, I am nowhere close to a decision yet. I’m going through my process. I want to go somewhere that has a family culture and a winning culture."
Anthony's 2024 season was remarkable. At the NBPA Top 100 Camp, he scored 42 points in one game and 37 in another. Over the year, Anthony averaged 9.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
