Four-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2026 recruiting class. The standout from Lake Ridge High School remains a priority target for the in-state Texas Longhorns and is set to visit Austin this weekend for the school's first major Junior Day of the offseason, according to On3's Chad Simmons.

Ojo announced his upcoming visit on X with the caption:

"Hook Em 🤨???"

Ojo's post caught the eyes of five-star quarterback and Texas Longhorns 2026 class commit Dia Bell, who will also be in Austin this weekend. Bell retweeted Ojo's post with a recruitment pitch, writing:

"U already know the move fam!🤘🏽 #HookEm #Horns2026."

Ojo is the No. 8 offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the No. 9 recruit in Texas, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He stood out during the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl by proving his skills against top-tier competition. Steve Sarkisian and his staff are expected to make a strong push to keep Ojo in-state.

Besides Ojo and Bell, the Texas Longhorns are hosting a big lineup of recruits for Junior Day, including top talents from the 2026 and 2027 classes. Notable visitors include running back KJ Edwards, interior offensive lineman Zaden Krempin, running back Javian Osborne, wide receiver Jalen Lott, defensive lineman Jaimeon Winfield, wide receiver Jabari Mack, edge rusher Jamarion Carlton, linebacker DaQuives Beck, cornerback Jamarion Vincent and athlete Jermaine Bishop Jr.

Felix Ojo raves about Texas Longhorns pitch in his recruitment

With over 40 schools offering scholarships to Felix Ojo, the Texas Longhorns coaching staff is ensuring they recruit him the right way.

“They flat out said and showed that I’m their No. 1 priority when it comes to linemen in the 2026 cycle," Ojo told On3.

Ojo hasn’t announced his top schools yet, but he confirmed that Texas is among his top five and that he is very interested in the program. Other schools he has visited multiple times and shown interest in include Oklahoma, SMU and Ohio State.

As of now, SMU leads his recruitment with a 22.3% chance of securing his commitment, according to On3. Texas follows with a 19.5% chance, Oklahoma has 16.7% and Ohio State holds a 5.0% chance.
