"That guy Bryce is the real deal": Wolverines RB signing warns other colleges to be wary of star QB Bryce Underwood in the upcoming season

Michigan is still on a high after signing No. 1 prospect QB Bryce Underwood. The Belleville, Michigan, native has gotten many Michigan fans hyped, and running back commit Jasper Parker, also joining Michigan next year, hyped up his future teammate. Parker warned everyone about Underwood's potential.

Parker is a four-star running back, ranked No. 356 overall by the On3 Industry Ranking. He plays for Archbishop Shaw and heaped plenty of praise on Underwood.

"That guy Bryce is the real deal, and I know he's coming to take heads off his first year," Parker said. "I'm excited to have him, I think this dude's going to be a top-two draft pick, and I don't think he's going to be two in the future, so it's just great being able to go play alongside him." Bryce Underwood originally committed to LSU before Michigan flipped him. The Wolverines reportedly offered him a multi-million-dollar NIL deal and had him Facetime Michigan Wolverines great and seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady, who offered to mentor him should he choose to flip.

Michigan fan and media mogul Larry Ellison, worth $208 billion (Celebrity Net Worth), may have been one of the people responsible for Bryce Underwood's flip, per Front Office Sports. A founding member of the Wolverines NIL collective, Champions Circle, reportedly said that the billionaire had a key role in one of the wildest flips in football.

Champions Circle chairman Nate Forbes released a statement thanking Larry Ellison and Jolin Ellison for their "invaluable guidance and financial resources.”

Underwood's flip to Michigan reportedly involved an NIL deal worth around $12 million.

Champions Circle co-founder Roger Ehrenberg, a Michigan backer, confirmed that Larry Ellison did indeed help back the NIL deal, as his wife, Jolin, was “a proud Michigan alum.”
