Kayden Mingo and Dylan Mingo, four-star prospects from LuHi, are again catching the fans' eye. In the absence of LuHi’s star player, Kiyan Anthony, the brother duo led Long Island Lutheran to a win over Columbus at the Jordan Holiday Classic on Sunday.
Under 'nbafuturestartsnow’s post that featured Kayden and Dylan as the cover, fans left supportive comments to appreciate the brothers and celebrate their achievements.
“Mingo brothers win Jordan Holiday Classic Co-MVP 🎁🏀,” the caption on the cover picture read.
The following slides feature clips of them scoring during the game. The last clip is particularly warm as the brothers celebrate their game and are met with applause.

The match between LuHi and Columbus ended in a 77-66 victory in favour of the former. Kayden Mingo led among the scorers with 25 points, four rebounds and three assists. Meanwhile, Dylan Mingo scored 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Their teammates were just as proactive on the court.
Nigel James contributed 18 points, seven assists and four rebounds. For Columbus, Caleb Gaskins was the top scorer with 21 points, while the number two prospect in the class of 2025, Cameron Boozer, scored 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Kayden Mingo and Dylan Mingo’s college commitment status
While Kayden Mingo ranks 42 among the top players of the class of 2025, he places an impressive fourth among the combo guards. Kayden has consistently performed for LuHi in the absence of Kiyan Anthony, who is off the court after a back injury. Kayden chose to commit to Penn State on Nov. 1.
A year younger than his brother, Dylan Mingo ranks 13th among the top recruits of the Class of 2026. As a point guard, he ranks second among the other top prospects.
He has received college program offers from Dayton, Florida State, Missouri, Virginia Tech, Washington and Cincinnati but has not made a choice yet. Both of the brothers are emerging as beacons of potential and skill as they lead LuHi.
