Carmelo Anthony's son, Kiyan, was unavailable for Long Island Lutheran when his team faced four-time NBA champ LeBron James' son, Bryce, and Sierra Canyon High School. ESPN reported that both Class of 2025 prospects sat out due to injuries.
The match on Friday saw Anthony's school secure a 65–50 victory over James' Sierra Canyon at the LuHi Holiday Invitational. Famous basketball page Sports Center NEXT shared a wholesome moment on Instagram between Kiyan Anthony and his parents. La La and Carmelo Anthony supported their son through injury.

Kiyan Anthony ranks 34th in the Class of 2025 while James 204th. Anthony committed to his father's alma mater, Syracuse, on Nov. 15, while James has yet to make a commitment.
