After an entire month away due to an injury, Kiyan Anthony made his presence felt as the Long Island Lutheran Crusaders got their star player back.

The four-star Syracuse commit had one of his best performances of the season so far against AZ Compass Prep last Sunday during the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts. For his efforts, he won the game MVP honors.

Kiyan Anthony had a game-high 17 points on Sunday as Long Island Lutheran defeated one of the best teams in the nation, 63-57. His performance at one of the most prestigious events in high school basketball also got a lot of fans talking.

"The best NBA player son 💯 (All earned not given)," claimed one commenter.
"Melo and Brons sons both won mvp. Future looking bright," said another commenter, talking about Bryce James also winning MVP honors at Hoophall Classic.
"This why Kiyan gon be nice cuz he play against HOOPERS," said another commenter, talking about Kiyan and his team regularly competing against nationally-ranked opponents.

Even more commenters praised Kiyan Anthony for his tough playstyle with what he showed during the Spalding Hoophall Classic.

"This is a prophecy, he's probably going to win several MVP's when he goes to the NBA," another commenter boldly claimed.
"Let’s get it @kiyananthony the growth is incredible. Keep going, you got the youth looking up to you ✊🏾.:" another commenter added.
"That Hop step dribble dunk is melo like and undefeated for sure," added another person.

In that game, Kiyan Anthony also had one block and one rebound for Long Island Lutheran, and he was perfect from the charity stripe, as he was 6-6 in free throws. Meanwhile, five-star 2026 prospect Dylan Mingo added 15 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in the win.

Kiyan Anthony says he wants to win every game now that he is back from injury

Long Island Lutheran had been struggling while Kiyan Anthony was injured, but now that he is back, the four-star shooting guard is on a mission to win every single game for LuHi. He declared his ambitions during an interview with PIX11 News.

“I’m trying to win, win any game. We could win Nationals, win the tournament, win anything. So, coming off past games, not having the results we ultimately wanted, being a big team in Columbus. Now just that’s momentum to keep winning and going to Nationals, going to the in-season tournament. Just try to win everything," he said.

He talked about the big win against Columbus and the Boozer Twins during last month's Jordan Holiday Classic in New York. In that game, even though he was still injured, LuHi won the game and upset the heavy favorites.
