Recruiting Insider Adam Finkelstein took to his X handle to hail the Boozer twins for their brilliant display at the Jordan Holiday Classic on Friday. The tweet read:

"The Boozer twins and Columbus High School were again dominant on day one of the Jordan Holiday Classic."

The game ended 70-44 in another impressive team performance for the Explorers. However, much of the quality in that game can be credited to the Boozer brothers. Specifically, five-star power forward Cameron Boozer ended the game with an impressive 18 points and three assists, while his brother Cayden scored 15 points.

Other players on the team, including 6-foot-5 junior Jaxon Richardson and 6-foot-8 power forward Gaskin Caleb, also delivered impressive performances. Each scored 13 and 12 points, respectively, to Columbus to the victory.

Altogether, the game was quite dominant for the Explorers as they managed to outscore Bullis in all quarters. In fact, after the first half of the game, they were already leading by 19 points. The second quarter was, in fact, more challenging for Bullis, as they only managed to score three points compared to Columbus' 18.

The Bulldogs tried to bounce back in the third, which turned out to be their highest-scoring quarter. However, Columbus went on to match their intensity, narrowly outscoring Bullis 21-20. They extended their lead by six points in the fourth quarter of the game.

The Boozer brothers, alongside other stars on the team, including Jaxon Richardson and Caleb Gaskin, also delivered impressive performances in their next game against Long Island Lutheran. Cameron Boozer scored 12 points, while his brother Cayden added 11 points and 10 assists. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, as they fell to a 77-66 loss.

Columbus Suffers Second Straight Loss in New York

After winning 13 straight matches in a row, the Explorers are on a two-game losing streak after losing against Link Academy on Sunday. They first fell to a 77-66 loss against Long Island Lutheran School and again to Link Academy despite a stellar 25-point performance from Cameron Boozer.

The game, which ended in a 57-49 scoreline, started on a good note for Columbus, as they led by seven points in the first quarter and maintained a four-point lead going into the fourth quarter. However, the Lions came into the fourth quarter with a different form, as they outscored Columbus by 12 points to snatch the victory.

As it is the last game of the year, Columbus will now have a long break to regroup before their next game against Riviera Prep on Friday, Jan. 10. They will hope to bounce back and get back to winning ways.
