The 6-foot-7 shooting guard from Little Rock (Arkansas) Christian is ranked No. 16 nationally by ESPN, attracting attention from top programs. While at LSU from Friday to Sunday, he toured the campus, engaged with the coaching staff and observed how the team’s schemes align with his strengths as a versatile scorer and playmaker. The visit included an up-close look at the Tigers’ facilities, game-day atmosphere and basketball program.

“It was a great visit,” Andrews said.

This LSU visit was just one of several stops for Andrews, who has been meticulously weighing his options. A few days prior, Andrews visited Arkansas, where he also had glowing feedback.

"I was excited to get an inside look at what it’s like to play basketball for Coach (John) Cal (Calipari) and the University of Arkansas," Andrews said. "My family and I enjoyed learning about their schemes and style of play.”

His father, Shawn Andrews, was an All-American offensive tackle at Arkansas before becoming a first-round NFL draft pick. His mother, Janetta Heggins Andrews, played basketball at Western Carolina.
