Tramell Jones Jr. announced his commitment to the Florida Gators on Nov. 17
The Florida Gators landed the commitment of four-star quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. on Nov. 17 and signed him on Dec. 4. He chose the Gators over top programs such as Florida State, UCF, Miami and Ole Miss, among others.
He took a trip to Gainesville for an official visit and attended Florida's game against the LSU Tigers on Nov. 17. He pledged his allegiance after the Gators won 27-16.
"I’d say the highlight of the weekend was of course was being in the Swamp, but also being able to spend that time with DJ (Lagway) and all the other players," Jones Jr. said, via Gators Online. "I wanted to see what the atmosphere and culture was with them, getting to see how they felt about the season, getting to see how they are outside of football."
Jones is ranked No. 247 nationally and the No. 21 QB in the Class of 2025, as per On3. He is also the No. 35 prospect in Florida.
