"These bron privileged kids": Hoops fans react to LeBron James' son Bryce James' high school career stats announced during senior day

Bryce James had one of his best games of the season, after missing many, for Sierra Canyon during his school's senior night game on Thursday. His father, LeBron, mother, Savannah, brother, Bronny, and sister, Zhuri, were all in attendance for the game.

In it, he had 12 points, five rebounds and four assists. Sierra Canyon defeated Loyola during that senior night game, 84-42.

Fans flocked to Bleacher Report's post regarding the entire family showing up to support Bryce James. However, the comments section was mixed, as many of LeBron's critics also criticized the Arizona commit.

Many of them pointed out that Bryce has only scored 243 points in his high school career.

"These bron privileged kids 😂 243 career pts? Lmao," one LeBron critic commented.

"243 points with a full ride to Arizona. That spot could’ve went to someone whose actually cooking these players." Another critic pointed out.

"Wait, he got a total of 243 points in High School and he’s going to Arizona to play on the college basketball Team ?" Asked another person.

Meanwhile, there were a few others who wished his family well or just praised LeBron for being able to find some time in his busy schedule to watch Bryce. However, the comments were mostly negative.

"5 pts a game and he’s going to a powerhouse basketball program at Arizona is privileged," said another commenter.

"That alone makes him the greatest father of all time and that is all that matters after the last shot is taken. @kingjames 🫵🫡," said another person.

"I love that they are as regular a family as can be, considering the circumstances," one person added.

Sierra Canyon is now 15-3, though most of its wins came when Bryce James did not play. The youngest James son spent most of his high school life bouncing around schools, so he missed a lot of games due to being ineligible.

Though Sierra Canyon had a dominant win on senior night, the team's next opponent would not be as easy, as it will be led by No. 3-ranked 2026 prospect Caleb Holt.

The Grayson Rams are also fresh off their own dominant victory, beating Heritage High School 102-32 on Thursday. The team also has a 17-1 record, only losing to the Boozer Twins and Columbus.
