Four-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan has been a key target for Auburn in the 2026 class. The Benjamin Russell High School (Alabama) standout returned to campus on Saturday for the Tigers' Junior Day, leaving a strong impression of Hugh Freeze's program.

"They have a great chance," Morgan told On3. "The environment, the fans, the coaches, it just felt like a big family. You know, there’s no environment like Auburn.”

In his junior season in 2024, Morgan caught 70 passes for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning the title of 2024 Outlook Offensive Player of the Year. College football recruiting analyst Tom Lemming describes him as a big, athletic wide receiver reminiscent of Julio Jones.

“Can’t nobody stop me, no matter how hard they try," Morgan said, via The Outlook. "I just go out there and try to find a way to help my team win and find a way for me to do what I need to do.”

Morgan is the No. 3 wide receiver in the 2026 class, the No. 2 recruit in Alabama and the No. 19 overall prospect, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He has participated in camps at various colleges and high-profile 7-on-7 events. Besides football, he excels in basketball and boasts an 11-second 100-meter dash.

Auburn leads the race for Cederian Morgan's commitment

Cederian Morgan has been a hot name in the recruiting world due to his elite talent. This month, he picked up offers from Tulane, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Mississippi and most recently, USF on Sunday.

However, Auburn has remained a favorite for Morgan. Wide receivers coach Marcus Davis is actively recruiting him for the Tigers, and the school leads his recruitment with a 90.6% chance of securing his commitment, according to On3. Alabama (5.1%) and Florida (2.2%) are also in the mix but trail significantly.

Auburn's 2026 recruiting class already includes two wide receiver commits: four-star Devin Carter from Douglas County High School in Georgia and three-star Denairius Gray from Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida. The Tigers this cycle ranks No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference and the No. 3 in the nation with six committed players.
