Several sons of NBA players, active and retired, are currently playing high school basketball. These include LeBron James' son Bryce James, Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony, Gilbert Arenas' son Alijah Arenas, Carlos Boozer's sons, the Boozer Twins, and many more.
Instagram page "Made Hoops" asked fans on Thursday, which father-son basketball they think is the best.
Some said Gilbert and Alijah Arenas were the best, while others said Carmelo and Kiyan Anthony were the best. However, there were also those joking about LeBron James' older son, Bronny, who was not included in the list.
"They know what they doin putting Bryce instead of Bronny," said one commenter.
"Nobody dad better than Bron…so in a actual pick up game nobody can beat Bron and Bryce but i like arenas and Anthony a lot too," said another commenter.
"the fact that they put bryce and not bronny for the james fam😂😂😂," another commenter added.
However, while it seems that Bronny was snubbed, Made Hoops pointed out that this post was just for the players from the Class of 2025.
"THESE ARE JUST 2025s 🚨," clarified the Made Hoops Instagram page.
"If you don’t pick the Boozer twins you’re simply not following HS basketball. They are top 3 and top 15 and there are TWO of them," said one fan.
"Coached against all of them except Boozers (Saw the dominant 3 summers in Nike) & Arenas was Adidas. Kiyan or the Boozers… Boozers with the edge," claimed one commenter.
If they were based on rankings, Carlos Boozer's son, Cameron, would be ranked second, with Alijah Arenas perhaps following after his reclassification to the Class of 2025 is finalized. It's a different story with their fathers, while many consider Bryce James' father LeBron to be the favorite.
Bryce James' visit to Arizona causes a stir
Bryce James has missed several games for his team, Sierra Canyon. However, late last month, he was spotted in Arizona, causing many to wonder if he plans to go there for college. The visit was an unofficial one.
However, his mother, Savannah James, who went with him, clarified that Bryce remains uncommitted. While he has no official offer from Arizona, he does have one from Duquesne and another from Ohio State.
