Duke's two biggest acquisitions over the last two years, freshman Cooper Flagg and 2025 commit Cameron Boozer, are considered the school's biggest recruitment wins of the post-Mike Krzyzewski era. However, when the two were still playing at the 15U level at Nike EYBL games, they were already exciting many fans.
The Slam HS Instagram page posted a throwback video featuring the two Duke recruits playing against one another, with Cooper Flagg and his Maine United squad throwing down against the Boozer Twins and their Nightrydas Elite from their 15U days.
This immediately drew some reactions from fans who were shocked to see such a high level of competition coming from the 15U division already.
This being 15u is just crazy 😭," commented one fan.
"If this is 15U, I’m sure even like even 13U kids would be cooking me at this point 😭," replied another.
"Cam was only 14 in this 😂," another commenter pointed out.
Others were amazed at how tough these players already are at this age, while another explained that older kids can still play in that division.
"Tuff," said a fan.
"Omg 😮😍," commented another.
"15u can be sixteen depending on birthday!," another fan noted.
With his twin brother, Cayden, Cameron Boozer has had a historic run with his Nike EYBL squad, Nightrydas Elite.
With the Boozer Twins at the forefront, the team became the first grassroots team to win consecutive Peach Jam championships at the 15U, 16U and 17U levels. These included victories over the likes of Tyran Stokes, AJ Dybantsa and Cooper Flagg.
Cayden and Cameron Boozer survived monster games from AJ Dybantsa and Tyran Stokes to win third straight Peach Jam championship
To capture their third Peach Jam championship, Cayden and Cameron Boozer, as well as the rest of Nightrydas Elite, had to go through the Oakland Soldiers, led by 2026's No. 1 ranked recruit Tyran Stokes and 2025's No. 1 ranked recruit, AJ Dybantsa.
It was Cameron who led the Nightrydas with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. However, he and the team were tested by the Soldiers, with Dybantsa posting 25 points and six rebounds, while Stokes had a triple-double of 25 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.
Nightrydas Elite won the game 71-62, with the Boozer Twins also winning three straight Florida state championships with the Christopher Columbus High School Explorers. They are in their senior year, and the Boozer Twins are gearing up to win their fourth state title together.
