AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 ranked high school basketball player from the Class of 2025, seems to like goofing around with his friends. This was evident when he shared a photo with his photographer friend, Kai, who runs the "Shots by Kaii" Instagram account. He shared the photo with some friendly banter on his Instagram stories on Friday.

"Me n twin drop this week," wrote Kai in his caption.
"this is his last chance... ova wit if he bait one more time," wrote AJ Dybantsa in his Instagram Story's caption.

Dybantsa, who once said he has "no life" outside of basketball, has made many friends while on the road with Utah Prep, with trips to Canada and Hawaii to compete in various tournaments and basketball events.

During an August 2023 interview, Dybantsa noted that he usually does not hang out with friends and does not enjoy partying. He does not leave his house often, and throughout the school year, he normally wakes up, does schoolwork, goes to school, practices, returns home, sleeps and repeats, with little else.

AJ Dybantsa drops 31 points during the Iverson Classic in New Jersey

Speaking of AJ Dybantsa's road trips, he and the Utah Prep Athletes are in New Jersey for the Iverson Classic Blackout Signature Series, where they will play a few games. On Thursday, they faced New Jersey's own The Patrick School and won narrowly, 78-73.

AJ Dybantsa led the way with 31 points during that five-point win. This performance resulted in the No. 1 ranked overall prospect being named the "G.O.A.T." Player of the Game.

After the win against The Patrick School, the Utah Prep Athletes are expected to face a much more difficult challenge in Texas' Dynamic Prep. The school is led by the four-star duo of Jermaine O'Neal Jr. and Jaden Toombs and has been red-hot since December. However, the game has been billed as the showdown between the No. 1 ranked senior against the No. 1 ranked sophomore.

Also playing for head coach Jermaine O'Neal's squad is the No. 1 ranked prospect from the Class of 2027, Ryan Hampton. The showdown is scheduled for Friday.
