Penn High School (Indiana) standout Tayshon Bardo is catching the eyes of college programs in his junior season. The wide receiver has made several game-day visits, and his next destination will be Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame.

The No. 16 Fighting Irish face the No. 15 Louisville Cardinals on Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium, which is one of the biggest on the Irish's home schedule. Bardo confirmed his visit on X, writing:

"I’ll be at THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME this weekend!!☘️@CoachMillz_ @coach_craig21 @KingsmenFBall @Im_MikeB @ND_CalebDavis @Marcus_Freeman1."

Notre Dame is coming off a solid 28-3 win over Miami (Ohio), improving to 3-1 on the season. Meanwhile, Louisville secured a 31-19 victory over Georgia Tech in their last match. The upcoming game could be an interesting one to watch for Bardo, who's awaiting an offer from Notre Dame.

Notre Dame has wide receiver Dylan Faison, from Saint Andrew's School in Florida, committed to its 2026 class. The program extended offers to multiple wide receivers in the cycle, while four-star prospect Connor Salmin remains a priority target. On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the school a 79.8% chance of earning Salmin's commitment.

Another receiver Notre Dame is expected to land is Trent Mosley, a standout from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in California. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine puts the odds of Mosley committing to the Irish at 94.1%.

Since then, he has received offers from Ball State, Central Michigan, Louisville, Eastern Kentucky, Miami (Ohio), Southeast Missouri State, Toledo and Western Michigan. He got his first Southeastern Conference offer from Vanderbilt last month.

Bardo's summer was packed with camp visits to some of the top programs in the nation. His camp schedule included stops at Purdue on June 2, Ohio State on June 6, Michigan on June 10, Michigan State on June 17, Alabama on June 22 and Ole Miss on July 27.

Tayshon Bardo kicked off his game-day visits with a trip to Michigan on Aug. 31, where he watched the Wolverines defeat Fresno State 30-10. A week later, he traveled to Vanderbilt, where he saw the Commodores dominate Alcorn State 55-0.

On the field, Bardo has started his high school season with a bang. In the Penn Kingsmen's season-opening 49-42 win against Valparaiso, he made touchdown catches of 15, 31 and 50 yards. Recruiting analyst Matt Freeman has praised Bardo for his speed and willingness to block.

Tayshon Bardo is ranked by 247 Sports as the nation's No. 91 wide receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 4 prospect in Indiana.
