Class of 2025 standout Mo Sylla has reportedly announced his top three college programs, including John Calipari’s Arkansas Razorbacks. According to On3, the top-15 recruit has identified the University of Arkansas, Georgia Tech and the University of Oregon as the finalists in his decision-making process.

In addition to these three choices, the 6-foot-10 Sylla had received offers from the University of Washington, Kansas and Arizona State. However, with his focus now firmly on Arkansas, Georgia Tech and Oregon, those programs are no longer in consideration.

Speaking with ON3 in an Interview, the Bella Vista Prep star emphasized the importance of both athletic development and academics in his decision. He shared his priorities in his own words:

“For the school I am going to commit to, I am looking for just two things. I want to go play for a coach who can help me get to the league, develop me. I’m also looking at academics," he said.
"Every day my mom is on me about academics, the first thing she asks is about the school and the academics. So that is why I care about school.”

Mo Sylla is one of the few remaining players in the Class of 2025 ranked in the top 30 by 247Sports who has yet to make a college commitment.

With his recruitment process nearing its conclusion, he is expected to announce his decision within the next week or two, having already completed official visits to his final three schools.

Where will Mo Sylla land? Georgia Tech reportedly leads race

According to ON3 predictions, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets currently lead with a 25.7% chance of securing Sylla’s commitment. Speaking to On3, the four-star Senegalese prospect praised Georgia Tech head coach Damon Stoudamire:

“I love Coach Hobbs. I know that everyday that I have my phone, I know that he is going to text me and ask how I’m doing.”

The 19-year-old prospect also reflected on reconnecting with fellow countryman Baye Ndongo, who currently plays for the Yellow Jackets:

“When I went on my visit there, they had some food from Senegal for me there, so that was cool. The trip there was great, I got to see Baye Ndongo. He is from Senegal and played for Senegal with me.”

The Arkansas Razorbacks are close behind in the predictions, with a 22.5% chance of landing Sylla. Speaking to On3, Mo Sylla highlighted the family-oriented culture of the program:

“The thing I liked about Arkansas, is when they finished practice, the coach takes like all of the players and they all go over to his house. And they rest and all hang out together. ”

Mo Sylla also acknowledged John Calipari’s reputation for developing NBA talent, which he sees as a critical factor.
