The recruiting season is in full swing and a lot of top talents, such as Michael Terry III have lined up official visits to top schools in the country. Terry is one of the top athletes in the country in his class, and the Texas Longhorns have scheduled an official weekend for him this weekend.

Terry comes in at number 28 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings. He is ranked higher by 247Sports at No. 6 in the Lone Star State and No. 20 overall.

Michael Terry III is a multi-sport athlete who plays football and competes on the track as well. Other schools such as the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Oregon Ducks, and the Texas A&M Aggies are on Terry's shortlist. However, there are no predictions about his eventual landing spot yet.

Terry played both as a running back and as a wide receiver in high school. In his junior year, the 6-foot-3 athlete racked up 995 rushing yards with 20 rushing touchdowns. He also accumulated 564 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns.

Terry has already completed official visits to Nebraska and Oregon. He is scheduled to visit Texas A&M next week.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are one of the teams trying to sign the five-star recruit from San Antonio. Terry spoke about Nebraska's efforts to get him on board in an interview with On3's Josh Newberg last Tuesday.

"They were calling me a lot, almost every day," Terry told On3. "“Just trying to get me up there, and they really set the bar high on the OV. They really showed me that they really want me up there."

The 6-foot-3 receiver's schedule now includes official visits to Texas, Texas A&M, and Oregon. Terry also revealed that he is looking for a "home feeling" from his recruiters and he got that from the Cornhuskers during his visit to the campus.

"Definitely Nebraska has given me that feeling so far," Terry told Newberg last Tuesday. "It was a great weekend, and my family and I had a great time. We got to see a lot of stuff around the campus, it was a good one."

It is a long road ahead for the teenager, and he needs to make the right choice with game time being a crucial factor. He will also be looking to play under a coach who can get the best out of him.
