Tajh Ariza, son of former NBA champion Trevor Ariza, stole the spotlight during a Westchester High School game with a smooth 3-pointer. The 6-foot-8 forward reshared a clip of the iconic moment originally posted by Blumez View's Instagram handle. He posted the clip on his Instagram story with a one-word reaction that sums up his joy over the flawless shot:
“"Bucket" 😂😂😂
His perfect 3-pointer justifies his No. 3 national ranking. The Westchester Senior High School standout can be seen charging through the court as he outmaneuvers the defense. Then, slipping out of the corner of the court with a quick step to create just enough space, he squared up and released the ball that went cleanly through the nets.
Although Ariza continues to drop stellar performances, Westchester High School seems to have lost the momentum. After two consecutive losses against Archbishop Carroll and JSerra Catholic, the team bounced back with a victory against North on Dec. 14. In their last game against Bishop Gorman, Ariza’s side lost the match, 60-72.
