The 2025 Under Armour All-America Game will take place on Thursday. The game will feature some of the best high school athletes from the Class of 2025 and 2026 and will be played in DeLand, Florida.
However, apart from some amazing talent, the game will also witness history as Isaiah Reese will become the first player from New Hampshire to participate in the UA All-America Game. The three-star recruit will play for Team Icon on Thursday.
Reese spoke about being a part of an All-American event and shared his excitement about playing with some of the best high school talent.
"Going out there and getting to compete with the best players in the country, that’s all I needed to get excited," he said, as per Sports Illustrated. "Being from a small town in New Hampshire and being selected to play in this was absurd to me. I’m going to be sweating a lot. I’m not used to that Florida weather."
Reese played the first three seasons of his high school football at Gilford. He was also a part of the high school's basketball team before transferring to Phillips Exeter. He signed with the Virginia Cavaliers on National Signing Day.
Phillips Exeter Academy coach Panos Voulgaris had high praise for Isaiah Reese
Isaiah Reese will play alongside talented players such as Ty Jackson, Dallas Wilson and Keelon Russell in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Reese's selection was met with a lot of excitement, and the Phillips Exeter Academy coach Panos Voulgaris described his talented linebacker as a unique player.
"He was very excited," Voulgaris said. "He was honored to be grouped with the type of players that he’s going to be playing with and against in this game. He’s the type of kid who deflects a lot of personal attention and is the type of person who’s thankful for having great teammates and coaches to put him in this position. That’s who Isaiah is."
Reese and the Phillips Exeter Lions went 8-1 last season and won the NEPSACs Drew Gamere Bowl. Reese was named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Year for his amazing performances last season.
The 6-foot-3 athlete is ranked No. 1083 nationally and is the 117th-best linebacker from the Class of 2025, as per On3. He is also the best overall recruit from New Hampshire.
