Montverde Academy recorded its 37th straight win after they defeated Springville High School 101-64 on Day 2 of the "5 for The Fight Hoopfest" in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, on Nov. 26. Six players from the Montverde Academy recorded double figures to continue the winning streak.
On Monday, Baller TV shared game highlights on Instagram featuring Indiana commit Trent Sisley, who scored 28 points on 80.0% shooting and added five assists. Class of 2026 recruit Dhani Miller also impressed, coming off the bench to score 20 points and sinking six of seven 3-point attempts.
Besides Miller and Sisley, Hudson Greer added 16 points, CJ Ingram scored 14, Dante Allen scored 11 and Kayden Allen got 10 points. The team shot a tremendous 60.8% from beyond the arc.
Montverde Academy will face Orangeville Academy on Friday in the 2024 Nike EYBL Sunshine Classic.
How good are Montverde Academy's Dhani Miller and Trent Sisley?
Trent Sisley committed to Indiana on Sept. 23 after considering offers from Purdue, Notre Dame and Michigan State. He ranks 82nd nationally and 16th among power forwards. Sisley leads Montverde in points per game (16.7) and total points (50), is second in FG% (71.0%), and third in rebounds per game (5.0).
Dhani Miller is ranked No. 123 in the Class of 2026, 17th among point guards and 16th in Florida. He leads in 3-point FG% (83%), is second in total rebounds (15), and third in FG% (64%) and steals (5).
For Montverde Academy, Sisley played 76 games, averaging a double-double with 23.2 ppg, 2.9 apg, 10.1 rpg, 1.5 spg and 1.9 bpg. In his junior year last season, Sisley played 24 games and averaged 24.2 ppg, 11.4 rpg, 4.3 apg, 1.8 spg and 2.2 bpg.
Miller's stats are not as glossy as Sisley's. He has played 44 games for Montverde Academy, averaging 2.2 ppg, 0.9 apg, 1.3 rpg and 0.5 spg.
