Aaliyah Chavez, the No. 1 prospect for the Class of 2025, continued her dominance on the court. In the game against the Coronado Mustangs, Chavez finished with 50 points and five steals to help Monterey to a blowout 103-42 victory and lead them to a 25-4 record.

Highlights of her performance were uploaded by the famous basketball page Ballislife on their Instagram page as Chavez wreaked havoc on the offensive end, hitting three-pointers and dominating the paint:

Chavez's 50-point game took her to 1,000 points for another season, marking the fourth time the Lubbock, TX native has achieved this feat. The 5-foot-9 guard scored 10 points in the first quarter and added 15 more in the second quarter to give her 25 points at halftime.

She scored 25 points in the second half to take her to 4,389 career points after exiting the game with 2:57 left on the clock.

Aaliyah Chavez has shown consistent improvement in her game and it has been reflected in her stats. She started her freshman year for Monterey in 2021-22 where she played 39 matches and averaged 25.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.7 blocks.

In her sophomore year next season, Chavez averaged 30.0 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 5.2 apg, 3.1 spg and 0.7 bpg in 34 games. She broke out in her junior year last season when she averaged a double double in 35 matches, scoring 37.8 points, grabbing 10.1 rebounds, dishing out 4.4 assists, stealing the ball 3.5 times combined with 0.9 blocks per game.

This season, Chavez has played 28 matches so far and is averaging 35.5 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 3.5 spg, 4.1 apg and 1.0 bpg. The point guard has received offers from programs including LSU, Michigan, Texas Tech, Texas, South Carolina, USC and North Carolina.

Which college has the highest chance of landing Aaliyah Chavez?

After receiving plenty of interest from colleges across the nation, Chavez narrowed down her list to 10 programs on Oct. 2. These included South Carolina, Oklahoma, Arizona, LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA and USC.

However, On3's Recruitment Prediction Machine suggests that Oklahoma and UCLA lead the race to land the No. 1 player in the 2025 Class. Oklahoma stands at 37.0% while UCLA has a 32.3% chance of signing Chavez.

Programs such as Texas Tech, LSU, Texas, Arizona, Ohio State and USC, among others, have less than 10% prediction of landing Chavez.
