WATCH: 5-star prospect Brayden Burries leads his team to a victory with a 33-point game at the Classic at Damien

Brayden Burries, the five-star prospect, dominated the court with his spectacular performance on Thursday.

The Roosevelt Mustangs faced the San Ramon Valley Wolves at the Classic at Damien. The Mustangs extended their seven-game winning streak with an 84-63 victory. With this, the team also marks its eighth win by a margin of 21 or more. On average, Roosevelt is outperforming their opponent teams by a gap of 26.3 points each game.

Burries’ performance is just as consistent. He led the Roosevelt with his double-double. He finished with 33 points and 10 rebounds. This is also his 11th game in a row where he has scored at least 10 points. Besides him, Myles Walker contributed 18 points, eight assists, and six steals.

The 6-foot-4 combo guard ranks 12th among the top recruits of 2025 and stands first among the combo guards. His skills have earned him offers from the top college programs, including offers from Arizona, USC, Oregon, Alabama, and SMU.

Brayden Burries’ consistency keeps Roosevelt going

In junior year, Brayden averaged 24.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game. He led Roosevelt to the championship game of the CIF Southern Section Open Division as well as the CIF State Open Division regional playoffs. In the senior year, his skills got even better. He averaged 36.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 4.0 steals.

His performances for Roosevelt in the games speak for him. He scored 35 points in 13-for-19 shooting and added seven rebounds in the game against Clovis North on Friday, which helped his team clinch an overwhelming 90-58 victory.

On Dec. 21, in a game against Notre Dame (SO), he contributed 26 points to Roosevelt’s 76-58 win. On Dec. 20, while the team faced a tough Redondo Union squad, Burries contributed 18 points in a close 78-74 victory.
