Nate Ament, who is ranked as a top-five prospect in the 2025 class by ESPN is yet to commit to a program and on Sunday, he starred for Highland High School in a tight 68-63 win against Georgetown at the Capitol Hoops Challenge.
Ament finished the game with 34 points converting tough shots above defenders and displaying stellar footwork in his performance. High school basketball page HeadTap took to Instagram to post some highlights of the 6-foot-9 power forward's performance.
Ament is ranked at the fourth spot nationally and second in the power forward position in his class. According to 247Sports, he has 29 offers from programs across the nation including Notre Dame, Tennessee, Louisville, Connecticut, Texas, Duke and Virginia Tech among others.

"I will take two visits in February: The North Carolina at Duke game and then Arizona at Kansas State," Ament said. "I'm going to try and squeeze in a Kentucky visit as well. I want to play for a coach and staff I can trust. A program's plan for me and for other players they are recruiting is important. How they value me as a player and person is most important to me."
In his first season for the Highland Hawks, Nate Ament averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 3.7 assists per contest. He was also a part of the Under Armour Elite 24camp where he starred for his team with 16.0 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 42.7% from the 3-point line.

He signed a deal with Reebok on October 17 last year and spoke about the deal with basketball portal Swish Cultures in a video posted on YouTube in November.
"Obviously I didn't really know about Reebok," Ament said (0:55). "I don't know much about clothing brands, to be honest, (or even) shoe companies. But once I did my research, researched their products, the management, the people they've brought in, it was really just a no-brainer for me."
