Duke Blue Devils' recruitment is going into overdrive as several five-star prospects showed up during the team's Countdown to Craziness.
The three high school basketball stars, Nate Ament, Shelton Henderson, and Acaden Lewis, are all possible Duke recruits for 2025.
While the trio showed up at the event, they are still not confirmed to join the program as several other schools are still in the race to land Ament, Henderson, and Lewis.
Lewis previously narrowed down his choices to just three schools, namely Duke, Kentucky, and UConn. The 6'2 guard from Sidwell Friends School is currently ranked as the #20 overall recruit in the country. However, despite his appearance at the Duke Blue Devils event, the Kentucky Wildcats are still hoping to nab him.
Meanwhile, 6'9 small forward Nate Ament, who previously visited Texas a few weeks ago, also has some offers from UConn, Creighton, and Florida State. However, it is still unclear which school he will pick.
6'6 small forward Shelton Henderson has narrowed his choices down to Duke, Texas, Houston, and Louisville.
What is Duke's Countdown To Craziness?
Duke Blue Devils coach Jon Scheyer invited the three athletes to the event which was held last Friday at the Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The event was a scrimmage between Duke players, with the White Team defeating the Blue Team 54-41. However, what stole the show was the moment the three guests arrived, with the crowd chanting, "Sit with us!" in an effort to get them committed to the university.
Cooper Flagg's twin brother, Ace, was also present at the event, along with his parents. The 6'7 three-star recruit was also present during last year's Countdown To Craziness, and there are already some speculations on whether or not he will be receiving an offer from the Blue Devils for the 2025 recruitment cycle.
Duke is already one of the most storied colleges in basketball and these three players, along with standout Cooper Flagg, are expected to help bolster this powerhouse team.
