Caleb Holt talks about challenges of being a top prospect
In a video posted by Swish Cultures on Sep. 17, $277K NIL-valued Caleb Holt (according to On3.com) discussed the challenges he faced as a top prospect.
"It's crazy, it's crazy man. Your phone's blowing up, like, if you're, like, if you're projected to be a top player in high school. I think you should get another phone," Holt said. "It's a good problem to have because everybody's here, you got college coaches, you got interviewers, you got people who want money, you got people who think they know you." (12:10 - 12:38)
"It's crazy! You got people who just want to say they trained you, being in the gym for a little bit for them, you know what I'm saying? So you have to also learn how to say no sometimes too, cuz you can't please everybody. And when, once you try to please everybody, you're going to find yourself, like, exhausted. So, I think just stay focused really." (12:41 - 13:03)
With plenty of offers, Caleb Holt has one more year to decide on his collegiate career.
