Tajh Ariza has proven himself as one of the best talents in the Class of 2026. The 6-foot-7 small forward is a five-star recruit and ranks sixth nationally, second in his position, and fifth in California.
In the Flight Club Invitational, Ariza dominated on the court again. The tournament is held by the sneaker store Flight Club and invites boys and girls teams from South California for a two-day tournament.
During the Oct. 12-13 segment of the tournament, Ariza represented his school, Westchester. The famous basketball page Courtside Films posted some highlights of the game where Ariza is seen dominating while his father is sitting courtside:
Another famous father-son duo was present in the Fight Club Invitational: Gilbert Arenas and his son, Alijah.
Arenas helped Chatsworth in a dominating 68-38 win against Beverly Hills.
However, Tajh Ariza's Westchester was knocked out by the host team Crossroads with a 59-52 scoreline. The Mater Dei School won the tournament in front of NBA players including 2x NBA All-Star Baron Davis, 2009 NBA champ Trevor Ariza, 5x NBA champ Derek Fisher and All-Star D'Angelo Russell.
Ariza previously played with his father sitting courtside in the Battle by the Beach: The High School Fall Invite, as Ball is Life uploaded the highlights of his performance on Oct. 3.
While playing in the Nike EYBL Peach Jam at Augusta, SC, from July 13 to July 21, Ariza averaged 13.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
