Andre Iguodala Jr. seems to be following in his father, four-time NBA Champ Andre Iguodala's footsteps. He led Link Academy to a 66-42 win against Kiyan Anthony's Long Island Lutheran in a conference game on Dec. 15. Kiyan, though, didn't feature in the contest due to an injury.

Iguodala Jr. racked up 14 points, dished out four assists and grabbed three boards to take revenge for their loss against Long Island Lutheran back in February.

Famous basketball page 'Sports Center NEXT' took to Instagram to share some highlights from the game. The Brandson, MO native was seen converting tough 3-pointers and finishing in the paint while his father sat on the sidelines:

With this result, the Lions have now recorded five wins with a gap of 24 points or more this season, getting them their fourth win in a row to get them to an 8-2 record. They have also finished with more than 55 points in their last three matches against Long Island, Legacy Early and La Lumiere.

Andre Iguodala Jr. and Link Academy will have plenty of time to rest during the holidays with their next match being on Jan. 3, 2025, against Wasatch Academy.

Unfortunately for Long Island Lutheran, their star player and son of the 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony, Kiyan Anthony is out due to an injury. He also missed the game against the son of the four-time NBA Champ LeBron James' son, Bryce James and Sierra Canyon on Dec. 13.

Andre Iguodala Jr. talks about his basketball journey

Iguodala Jr. also belongs to the Class of 2025. The Link Academy small forward went viral when his father posted a picture of them together. At the time the picture was posted, the No. 32 small forward was almost as tall as his father.

Iguodala Jr. was interviewed by 'Pro Insight' in a YouTube video posted by them on Dec. 1, 2023, and talked about his basketball journey:

"I think I've always played basketball since I was a kid probably 5 years old. I think I really started taking basketball seriously in freshman year of high school," said Iguodala Jr. (0:15 - 0:26)
"It's when I really started to love basketball and then, last year, I was pretty good, I think. I was good enough to make it on this team and then I had the great opportunity to come out here. They're (Link Academy) getting me a lot better and just getting prepared for college and then maybe the next step, so I like it a lot." (0:26 - 0:45)

As of now, the signs are great for the up-and-coming talent. He will soon have to make a decision on which college will he take his talents to. Which college do you think we will see Andre Iguodala Jr. play for?
