Darius Acuff, a five-star recruit from the 2025 class, has impressed the basketball world with his skills. The 6-foot-1 point guard was on fire for IMG Academy's clash against the AZ Compass Prep on Thursday, Nov. 28.
Acuff charted 25 points and five assists alongside scoring the game-winner as his side emerged victorious in a 64-62 thriller.
'Ballislife' shared a compilation of Darius Acuff's top moments from the game via Instagram on Thursday, Nov. 28.

The clip began with Acuff scoring a spectacular bucket after receiving the ball from his teammate. Next up, he went toe-to-toe with a rival defender, beating him to dunk in another bucket. He got the better of the same defender in the following cut as well.
Darius Acuff made a brilliant run from his own half to add a few more points to his tally. After slotting the ball into the net from the corner, he made some more runs.
He was at his best with his impeccable shooting. Acuff left his opponents reeling as he put up a show with his dribbling and pace. His dominant performance was proof of why he is the No. 1 point guard from his class, as per On3.
Darius Acuff's commitment to Arkansas Razorbacks
Acuff received over 20 offers from top universities across the nation, including LSU, Michigan, Houston, Arkansas and Kansas. The Detroit native announced his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks on July 27.
Darius observes and learns from legendary NBA point guards. According to On3, Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury, Ja Morant, Trae Young and Kyrie Irving are some of his favorite professional hoop stars.
"I’ve seen every highlight, him and Stephon Marbury, I’ve seen every highlight," Acuff said about Iverson.
"There's something about their game that you want to add to your game. They were legends, and that's what I want to be too," he added.
The young ace would fancy stepping into college basketball with the same form. He certainly has the spotlight on him, being one of the top recruits in his class.
