Dynamic Prep is regarded as one of the strongest high school basketball teams in the country, but it ran into Columbus, led by Cayden and Cameron Boozer on Friday.

The Colombus Explorers had a dominant 73-55 win over their opponents from Texas, with the twin sons of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer leading the way.

Both Cayden and Cameron Boozer each had a double-double performance during that game against fellow NBA legacy Jermaine O'Neal Jr.

Cayden Boozer had 10 points and 10 assists with 5-9 field goal shooting, while twin brother Cameron Boozer had 19 points, 15 rebounds, and four steals on 8-16 field goal shooting.

Other members of the Explorers also had great games, including the four-star son of Jason Richardson, Jax Richardson, who had 19 points. Meanwhile, five-star Caleb Gaskins had 16 points and six rebounds during that Columbus win.

Both Gaskins and Richardson are part of the Class of 2026 and are expected to take over the team once Cayden and Cameron Boozer graduate.

Meanwhile, Dynamic Prep is led by the four-star trio of Jermaine O'Neal Jr., Jaden Tooms and Ryan Hampton. Both Toombs and O'Neal Jr. have already committed to SMU.

Columbus is now up to a 4-1 start after losing its opening game to No. 3-ranked 2025 recruit Darryn Peterson and Prolific Prep. They bounced back with wins against ranked schools, such as Buena Vista Prep, Wheeler and DME Academy.

Cayden and Cameron Boozer to go up against Kiyan Anthony and LuHi in December

Columbus has one of the toughest schedules of any team during the 2024-2025 high school basketball season. They have matchups with top-tier teams like Gonzaga, Perry, Notre Dame and defending national champions Montverde Academy.

Their toughest matchup in December, however, is expected to be against Long Island Lutheran (LuHi), led by fellow NBA legacy Kiyan Anthony.

Much like Columbus, LuHi is also considered a favorite to win the Chipotle National Championship this season. The showdown is scheduled for Dec. 28, though no exact time has been set yet.

It would be a tough match as Long Island Lutheran has a deep roster that includes four-stars Kiyan Anthony, Kayden Mingo, Moussa Kamissoko and Nigel James, as well as five-star Kayden Mingo.

Before that, their toughest opponent is Gonzaga, with the game happening on Dec. 7, and then Edgewater on Dec. 12, and Archbishop Stepinac on Dec. 14. Their showdown with the still-undefeated Perry will happen on Jan. 20, while they will face Montverde Academy on Jan. 24.
