Kiyan Anthony shines at Peach Jam and aims to narrow college choices soon

Kiyan Anthony, a top 2025 recruit and priority target for Syracuse basketball, has been delivering standout performances at the annual Peach Jam on Nike's EYBL circuit.

The talented four-star shooting guard from New York City has been a dominant force this spring and summer, excelling in the EYBL's 17U division with Team Melo, based in Baltimore.

The Peach Jam, held in North Augusta, S.C., runs through July 21, coinciding with an NCAA live period from July 19 to July 21. Syracuse's coaching staff is expected to attend and evaluate Anthony during this crucial period.

Despite the fact that Team Melo is not part of the 24-team Peach Jam field in the 17U division, they are a part of the Peach Invitational Tournament (PIT). Team Melo was able to defeat Mac Irvin Fire from Chicago in a game on Monday. They won with a score of 81-51.

Anthony had a fantastic 40 point game, gathering two rebounds, and having one assist. He was shooting 15-of-19 from the field and 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. This information was disclosed by the EYBL website.

Rutgers has now entered into the queue of schools striving to get Anthony's decision after making an offer to the popular guard. The Scarlett Knights, led by coach Steve Pikiell, are now competing with Syracuse, St. John’s, Seton Hall, and Indiana, among others, for Anthony.

As he prepares to narrow down his list of potential colleges, Kiyan Anthony continues to demonstrate why he is one of the most sought-after prospects in the 2025 recruiting class.
