Colorado Buffaloes' two-way star Travis Hunter used to tear up high school football prior to dominating college football. The 6-foot-1 athlete from Suwanee, Georgia, was a five-star recruit coming into college and was one of the best high school athletes in the country in the Class of 2022.
Hunter was electric in high school. The wide receiver can be seen juking defenders after making a catch at Cam Newton's 7v7 league in a throwback video posted on Instagram by House of Highlights.
Hunter was ranked No. 2 nationally and was the best player at his position in his class, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He was also ranked as the best overall prospect from his home state of Georgia.
Hunter received offers from several football programs, including Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Tennessee, Florida State, Auburn and Florida.
Although he enrolled in Jackson State under Deion Sanders and later transferred to Colorado in 2023. He plays alongside Shedeur Sanders at Colorado and is widely regarded as one of the best college football players in the country.

Hunter had a great high school career, racking up 3,963 receiving yards and 48 touchdowns in just 41 games. He also made an impact on defense, accumulating 19 interceptions and 116 total tackles.
After a subdued start to his high school career, Hunter broke out in his sophomore year, tallying 919 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns while only playing 11 games.
His best year came as a junior when he caught 137 catches for 1,746 yards and scored 24 touchdowns. Hunter's senior year saw him go past the 1,200 mark once again, grabbing 85 catches for 1,284 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 11 games.
Travis Hunter has played three seasons in college so far. During his time in college, the former five-star recruit has racked up 1,498 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns on 124 receptions while also grabbing seven interceptions.
