It is not just on the basketball court where Alijah Arenas shows off his unique talents. The son of three-time NBA champion Gilbert Arenas and a five-star recruit from the Class of 2026, Alijah had a unique way of celebrating Halloween.
His mother, Laura Govan, took it to Instagram to show their Halloween preparations. Alijah Arenas and his sister, Hamiley Arenas, were joined by his girlfriend Jayden, talent manager Travis Wilson, and Core Prep Academy's director of Basketball, Zach Becerra.
The group painted pumpkins as a part of their Halloween tradition. Alijah was the first to finish painting his pumpkin black, however, his way of drying the paint was unique:
"This is how he dries his🎃😂," Govan captioned her IG story.
On the basketball court, Alijah Arenas has put his name out there as one of the best talents in the Class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 3 recruit nationally, and in California, he ranks No. 1 in his position. The 6-foot-4 Chatsworth senior guard has received five-star grades from On3, ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, including a 94 scout grade from ESPN.
Arenas has continued to improve on the court. According to On3, Arenas was originally a four-star recruit, however, their latest rankings showed his progress.
