Jaxon Richardson took flight at the Jordan Holiday Classic on Friday night. The Columbus (Florida) Explorers forward sent fans inside ARC Arena at Baruch College into a frenzy after pulling off two jaw-dropping dunks against Bullis (Maryland).
Richardson displayed his insane hops late in the second quarter, recording back-to-back highlight jams to extend Columbus' lead to 17 points. His first dunk came with 3:03 remaining in the first half. He tracked down Caleb Gaskins' miss off a mid-range jumper, soaring high for the offensive rebound before flushing it down with a powerful right-handed finish over Angelo Dickerson III.
Bullis immediately called a timeout to halt Columbus' momentum. Richardson had other ideas, though, as he delivered another thunderous dunk with 1:39 remaining in the second period. He started the highlight with a steal on the defensive end, giving Richardson a free lane toward the basket. With no defender in sight, Richardson elevated for the windmill slam to give Columbus a 30-13 advantage.
