Five-star recruit Koa Peat ranks sixth in the 2025 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database and has a 95 Scout grade. The son of the former NFL star Todd Peat is rated five stars by On3, 247Sports and Rivals.
The 6-foot-8, 235-pound power forward has a good release for his shots and is also a strong rebounder. However, he has another trick up his sleeve, which he showcased during a game against Basha in January 2023.
Peat rose up to slam it home and the fans went berserk. While the fans on the court stood up to their feet, fans online left their reactions in an Instagram post.

According to ESPN, Peat has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Butler, California, Floria, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Memphis, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Texas, UCLA, USC and Washington State.
From this long list, Peat has visited Arkansas and Houston so far with visits scheduled to Duke, Arizona and Baylor. However, Arizona Wildcats tops the list with a 20.1% chance of recruiting Koa Peat. This is followed by Arizona State with a 13.3% chance, Texas with an 11.4% prediction, and Houston and Baylor with a 9.5% chance each.
